Sensei Neil has been training martial arts for over 19 years, his early training started with Karate Shotokan, on which he holds the rank of Shodan. His desire to train the arts of Soke Masaaki Hatsumi motivated him to move to the United States where authentic training was available. Still it was not easy to find what he was looking for, even in the United States, the land of opportunities, but patience and persistence finally paid off. As most of us who were searching the art, made the first contact through the Shadows of Iga Society but it was not until 1995 while attending college that the real opportunity to train finally came through.
