2011Theme of the year per Soke is "Kihon Happo": Back to basics, but are we really going back to basics as such, or is it reinforcing the importance of basics? It is a matter of interpretation for all of us who train this art, but as Soke develops the theme throughout the year, we will have a better target to aim at.
